Elder Larson - Argentina Resistencia Mission 2024-2026

 Week 17   December 2, 2025 What's up everybody, happy Thanksgiving, hopefully, someone ate a piece of pie for me, here's the highlights of my week: I met a dude who didn't know Jordan retired and he thought that he played with Curry in the last Olympics  -David A. Bednar is a more spiritual Owen Wilson -My mate cups journey -I have my second multi-zone conference this week -I got to baptize 2 of the girls that the Hermanas in my branch are teaching! So this last week we had a multi-zone conference, which is basically just a bunch of the missionaries getting together to learn from our presidents and from each other. So that was last Friday, but they gave us our bus ticket for Thursday (Thanksgiving), meaning I spent Thanksgiving traveling and then wandering around the city of Posadas (we literally had nothing to do for like 6 hours when we got there). It was lit, but kinda sad that we didn't really get a great Thanksgiving, me and a bunch of missionaries went to McDo...

 Week 16 - November 25, 2025 Yoo, what's going on everyone? Hopefully, y'all had a great week, here are some of the highlights of mine: -We found some super sick people which is awesome -I finally went on divisions with someone who didn't speak any English, so I had my first real day of solo español  -We put up Christmas lights -We had a 'spicy' treat It's been getting a little easier every week to understand Spanish, which makes doing lessons that much easier. It's so hard to judge improvement because it never happens all at once, and it comes in waves like I'll understand that sentence but then not that one. Oh then I understood 2 sentences in a row, then I didn't understand 3. It's lit. The day of divisions helped a lot I think We found a lot of super cool people who have a lot of potential this week.   Week 15   2 birds with one stone -  November 18, 2024 Hey what's up y'all! Here's a great quote from Elder Smith: life is like a taco, sometimes you think it's a hard taco, but then it's actually not even a taco, because it's life.  Highlights: -We saw a kid with 2 dead birds walk by us, it was lit -I actually like mate now -I made carrot cake this week and holy wow that was some freaking tasty stuff So we were just walking along one day and this kid, like 7 years old, walks by with a slingshot. And that's not the most uncommon thing, so we didn't think anything of it, until his younger brother walked past us right behind his brother, carrying 2 bird heads and just smiling at us while he walked by😂. It was lit Guys, it only took 2 months but mate actually doesn't taste that bad anymore. If you don't think about how your drinking actual grass, then after drinking it almost every day for 2 months, it will start to grow on you. I really don't...

 Week 14  November 11, 2024 Anyway, here's the highlights: -We got attacked by bees on the way to church yesterday, that was awesome -I went to Iguazu falls today!! -I got to go back to Resistencia last week, which was sick -I finally did my first magic trick in Spanish without (too much) help from Elder Baldwin. It was a beautiful moment Alright, so yesterday we were just walking to church and all of a sudden Elder Baldwin just starts like running down the sidewalk swatting his hand around his head and I'm like what the heck is happening. Then I see all the bugs flying around him, and there were like 15 bees flying around him, just chasing him down the street, and then some start trying to sting me, so I take off after him, and they eventually leave us alone,e but it was wild. I came out without a single sting but Elder Baldwin had like 5 or 6 and one right next to his eye which made it swell up a little and everyone was asking about it at church.
