Week 14

 Week 14  November 11, 2024

Anyway, here's the highlights:

-We got attacked by bees on the way to church yesterday, that was awesome
-I went to Iguazu falls today!!
-I got to go back to Resistencia last week, which was sick
-I finally did my first magic trick in Spanish without (too much) help from Elder Baldwin. It was a beautiful moment

Alright, so yesterday we were just walking to church and all of a sudden Elder Baldwin just starts like running down the sidewalk swatting his hand around his head and I'm like what the heck is happening. Then I see all the bugs flying around him, and there were like 15 bees flying around him, just chasing him down the street, and then some start trying to sting me, so I take off after him, and they eventually leave us alone,e but it was wild. I came out without a single sting but Elder Baldwin had like 5 or 6 and one right next to his eye which made it swell up a little and everyone was asking about it at church. Yeah that was sick

Guys, Iguazu Falls is crazy. There is so much water falling there

I went back to Resistencia to start the process of getting my DNI, which basically makes me legal to be here in Argentina for 2 years, and that was sick. I got to see my CCM comp again for the first time since getting here so shout out to E. Lords ☝️. We made the most fire edit while we were there too, because we had so much time to burn, so that'll be on my Google photos, I would definitely recommend watching it. 

Spiritual moment:
We had the primary program yesterday and it was so awesome to hear all the primary songs in a different language that I've known my whole life. When they sang 'I want to be a missionary now' (Yo quiero ser un misionero ya)  it hit me really hard. It was weird to be like, holy cow, that was me singing that and now I'm the missionary. Right when they started singing I felt the spirit and I loved it

 Week 10 October 14, 2024 Hola everyone! I never really know what to say to start these off so here's the highlights: -Oh my gosh, thank you guys so much for all the birthday wishes. I was having a rough  week  leading up too my birthday and y'all lifted my spirits so thank you! For those of you who messaged on Facebook I'm not allowed to answer, but I'm so grateful for you too! -Zone Conference was this  week . I'm sure the talks were awesome but I couldn't understand them. Week 18

 Week 18  They can fly December 9, 2024 What's up y'all. Elder Baldwin leaves in 3 days so starting this week I'm officially out of my training which is so crazy. Here are the highlights that I can remember from this week: -Guys the cockroaches in my apartment have learned to fly -Shout out to the Ellen Show for being fricken cracked at basketball  -I got the living freaking daylights scared out of me by a dog -Elder Baldwin broke 3 plates -We got a mini Christmas tree -We had the funniest encounter with this random dude on the street We were walking down a sidewalk that we go down a lot and it goes right by these houses and while we were walking by this massive pit bull like tried to jump through the fence like 2 inches away from my face and I genuinely was ready to die in that moment. So we run into this dude that's trying to sell us some stuff so we're kind of just trying to brush him off, then he starts asking us questions about like where we're from and why...

 Week 11     October 21, 2024 I really don't know what to say to start this  week , rock, paper, scissors shoot. Come back next  week  to see if u beat  me . Highlights: -Aliens do in fact exist  -I made torta fritas for my district, and it was rough because they were explaining to  me  how to make them in Spanish and I had no idea what they were saying.  -Argentine Mother's day was yesterday so Happy Mother's day mom OK, the reason that I say aliens exist is because I heard a really weird noise in the sky, meaning it's got to be aliens We had a meeting with our district last  week  and my comp, Elder Baldwin, had us make this scone thing, called torta fritas I think, for the lesson. The whole thing was in Spanish tho so I don't really have any idea what's happening.
