Week 15


 Week 15  2 birds with one stone - November 18, 2024

Hey what's up y'all! Here's a great quote from Elder Smith: life is like a taco, sometimes you think it's a hard taco, but then it's actually not even a taco, because it's life. 

Highlights:
-We saw a kid with 2 dead birds walk by us, it was lit
-I actually like mate now
-I made carrot cake this week and holy wow that was some freaking tasty stuff

So we were just walking along one day and this kid, like 7 years old, walks by with a slingshot. And that's not the most uncommon thing, so we didn't think anything of it, until his younger brother walked past us right behind his brother, carrying 2 bird heads and just smiling at us while he walked by😂. It was lit

Guys, it only took 2 months but mate actually doesn't taste that bad anymore. If you don't think about how your drinking actual grass, then after drinking it almost every day for 2 months, it will start to grow on you.

I really don't know what else to put in my emails right now. Every day is about the same. 

Spiritual thought:
I started listening to BYU talks this week and they are so awesome. It's basically prophets, apostles, or other lit people just straight preaching to the students at BYU, I'm pretty sure, and those talks are so good. I would definitely encourage you guys to listen to one. There are so many good ones, but one that I've heard before but didn't realize that it was from a BYU talk was by Brad Wilcox named, His Grace is Sufficient, I think. It's so good.

Anyway, I love y'all and talk to you next week ✌️

 Week 10 October 14, 2024 Hola everyone! I never really know what to say to start these off so here's the highlights: -Oh my gosh, thank you guys so much for all the birthday wishes. I was having a rough  week  leading up too my birthday and y'all lifted my spirits so thank you! For those of you who messaged on Facebook I'm not allowed to answer, but I'm so grateful for you too! -Zone Conference was this  week . I'm sure the talks were awesome but I couldn't understand them. Week 18

 Week 18  They can fly December 9, 2024 What's up y'all. Elder Baldwin leaves in 3 days so starting this week I'm officially out of my training which is so crazy. Here are the highlights that I can remember from this week: -Guys the cockroaches in my apartment have learned to fly -Shout out to the Ellen Show for being fricken cracked at basketball  -I got the living freaking daylights scared out of me by a dog -Elder Baldwin broke 3 plates -We got a mini Christmas tree -We had the funniest encounter with this random dude on the street We were walking down a sidewalk that we go down a lot and it goes right by these houses and while we were walking by this massive pit bull like tried to jump through the fence like 2 inches away from my face and I genuinely was ready to die in that moment. So we run into this dude that's trying to sell us some stuff so we're kind of just trying to brush him off, then he starts asking us questions about like where we're from and why...

 Week 11     October 21, 2024 I really don't know what to say to start this  week , rock, paper, scissors shoot. Come back next  week  to see if u beat  me . Highlights: -Aliens do in fact exist  -I made torta fritas for my district, and it was rough because they were explaining to  me  how to make them in Spanish and I had no idea what they were saying.  -Argentine Mother's day was yesterday so Happy Mother's day mom OK, the reason that I say aliens exist is because I heard a really weird noise in the sky, meaning it's got to be aliens We had a meeting with our district last  week  and my comp, Elder Baldwin, had us make this scone thing, called torta fritas I think, for the lesson. The whole thing was in Spanish tho so I don't really have any idea what's happening.
