Week 17

 Week 17   December 2, 2025

What's up everybody, happy Thanksgiving, hopefully, someone ate a piece of pie for me, here's the highlights of my week:

I met a dude who didn't know Jordan retired and he thought that he played with Curry in the last Olympics 
-David A. Bednar is a more spiritual Owen Wilson
-My mate cups journey
-I have my second multi-zone conference this week
-I got to baptize 2 of the girls that the Hermanas in my branch are teaching!

So this last week we had a multi-zone conference, which is basically just a bunch of the missionaries getting together to learn from our presidents and from each other. So that was last Friday, but they gave us our bus ticket for Thursday (Thanksgiving), meaning I spent Thanksgiving traveling and then wandering around the city of Posadas (we literally had nothing to do for like 6 hours when we got there). It was lit, but kinda sad that we didn't really get a great Thanksgiving, me and a bunch of missionaries went to McDonald's that night for dinner because it was the most American thing we could do. We also have this thing at the multiverse conference that is called getting your pin. It's basically that you have to memorize a few scriptures, then invite your district leader (the person asking you the questions) to read their scriptures or go to church or something like that. And I passed it so I got my pin now baby😎. 

Ok, so guys, I bought my first mate cup❗️ and I was super excited to drink my first mate out of it but then Elder Baldwin told me that apparently that's not how it works. We have to 'prep' the mate cup before I can drink any mate out of it. So I bought my cup on Thursday, and we are still in the process of prepping it. You have to put warm water in it for 24 hours, then salt water for another 24 hours, then repeat that, then let it sit with the grass clippings in it for however long. I'm about to get to putting the actual mate in so it should be ready soon😁. 

Spiritual thought:
I have been listening to more talks from BYU this week and I really loved the talk ' “Consider the Wondrous Works of God” (Job 37:14)' from David A. Bednar when he quoted President Monsen in his talk:

"God left the world unfinished for [men and women] to work [their] skill upon. He left the electricity in the cloud, and the oil in the earth. He left the rivers unbridged and the forests unfelled and the cities unbuilt. God gives to [us] the challenge of raw materials, not the ease of finished things. He leaves the pictures unpainted and the music unsung and the problems unsolved, that [we] might know the joys and glories of creation."

I love this talk and would encourage you guys to listen to it too.

 Week 10 October 14, 2024 Hola everyone! I never really know what to say to start these off so here's the highlights: -Oh my gosh, thank you guys so much for all the birthday wishes. I was having a rough  week  leading up too my birthday and y'all lifted my spirits so thank you! Week 18

 Week 18  They can fly December 9, 2024 What's up y'all. Elder Baldwin leaves in 3 days so starting this week I'm officially out of my training which is so crazy. Here are the highlights that I can remember from this week: -Guys the cockroaches in my apartment have learned to fly -Shout out to the Ellen Show for being fricken cracked at basketball  -I got the living freaking daylights scared out of me by a dog -Elder Baldwin broke 3 plates -We got a mini Christmas tree -We had the funniest encounter with this random dude on the street We were walking down a sidewalk that we go down a lot and it goes right by these houses and while we were walking by this massive pit bull like tried to jump through the fence like 2 inches away from my face and I genuinely was ready to die in that moment. So we run into this dude that's trying to sell us some stuff so we're kind of just trying to brush him off, then he starts asking us questions about like where we're from and why...

Week 11

 Week 11     October 21, 2024 I really don't know what to say to start this  week , rock, paper, scissors shoot. Come back next  week  to see if u beat  me . Highlights: -Aliens do in fact exist  -I made torta fritas for my district, and it was rough because they were explaining to  me  how to make them in Spanish and I had no idea what they were saying.  -Argentine Mother's day was yesterday so Happy Mother's day mom OK, the reason that I say aliens exist is because I heard a really weird noise in the sky, meaning it's got to be aliens We had a meeting with our district last  week  and my comp, Elder Baldwin, had us make this scone thing, called torta fritas I think, for the lesson. The whole thing was in Spanish tho so I don't really have any idea what's happening. Then he looks at  me  and asks something so I just say sí, and apparently he asked  me  if I wanted to be the one to cook them so I accide...
